Not a ray stops the run of the United States

The women’s team EE.UU. won the of Colombia 2-0 in the second friendly match between the two teams and in their last set-up before qualifying for the world. With this win, the United States extended its unbeaten streak to 69 games on home soil (67 wins and two draws). Lightning was reported near Rio Tinto Stadium in the 75th minute, causing the match to be suspended for more than 30 minutes.

The United States will head to Monterrey, Mexico, for the Concacaf Championship. The top four teams get places in the World Cup and the winner, also a place in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
