Nico Serrano drops back to Bilbao Athletic

Bilbao Athletic is measured today (12 hours) at Talavera de la Reina in Lezama. Imanol de la Sota, once his positive for Covid has been overcome, will return to his place on the rojiblanco bench after being replaced last day by Carlos Gurpegi, his second, in the duel against Racing at El Sardinero. The rojiblanco coach will once again have the services of Nico Serrano.

The young Navarrese striker, who came to play last Friday for a few minutes with Athletic against Levante after having returned from his concentration with the Spanish Under-19 team, usually shares the axis of the forward of the Bilbao subsidiary with Artola since the change of system carried out on the rojiblanco side. We will have to wait and see what De la Sota’s intentions are in this clash in which Bilbao Athletic needs to score the three points to get out of the relegation zone and start to catch air in the qualifying table.

Nico Serrano was absent on the last league match due to his international commitments. Gurpegi chose in Santander to play at the top with Jon Cabo along with Artola. We will have to wait to see what De la Sota’s intentions are for today in this regard.

Talavera comes to Lezama in fifteenth position in the table with a sack of 12 points in as many league games played. Those coached by Víctor Cea have a road record of two wins and four losses.

The cubs usually compete well when they act as premises, but both in attack and defense they make mistakes that end up taking their toll.
