Neville Charges “Charlatan” Boris Johnson

Gary Neville has charged British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for failing to act against the coronavirus pandemic that affects the entire planet. Johnson, advised by the Scientific adviser to the United Kingdom, Patrick Vallance, recommended not to go to bars, pubs and theaters to avoid infections, but these measures are not enough for the former player of the Manchester United, who does not understand how he still has to take his children to school, since the schools are still open: “This is about safety. By the way, don't go to restaurants, bars and theaters, but take your children to school.”

That was the first of many tweets in which the former English soccer player complained about the measures taken, calling Johnson a charlatan: “Anyway, he's going to close the schools in a few days. He's a quack!”

Neville calls for the British government to get down to work and offer guaranteed health benefits, extend rents and mortgages, put a business support package to protect jobs and businesses, make all private healthcare facilities available free beds and communicate a clear strategy: “Boris Johnson, you must act now!”

Finally and responding to the former president of the U.S, Barack Obama, the former player and commentator again charged against the Prime Minister: “I understand what you are saying but all of our children have been told to go to school tomorrow and I just witnessed the St. Patrick's Day parade as I drove to Manchester. I have never seen such conflicting news. Reports! There is no leadership in this country”.
