MotoGP: Stefano Bianco, who became the youngest rider to debut in 125cc, dies in an accident

Stefano Bianco lost his life this Wednesday afternoon in a fatal accident in Lein, in the Turn area. The 34-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash that took place at the Bar Mirage in Via Torino, according to La Repubblica.

Born in Chivasso, near Turn, in 1985, Bianco competed at the highest level in the world of motorcycles, getting to participate in the 125cc World Championship with the squires Aprilia, Gilera and Honda, as well as in Superbike races.

A van and a car were also involved in the accident. According to the first reconstructions, Stefano would have collided with his Honda Cbr 600 with the truck and finally violently collided with a Fiat Panda that was behind the truck itself. Restrooms who arrived at the scene of the accident could not avoid death.

Bianco was an early pilot, because debut with 15 years and 2 days in Philip Island (Australia) -the youngest ever at that time-, in 2000, racing in 125 cc instead of the injured Mirko Giansanti. Two years later, his record was broken by Jorge Lorenzo. Stefano competed in the world championship until 2008, participating in some fifty races.
