Mirotic returns to Barça training

MADRID, 19 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Barça player Nikola Mirotic trained with the rest of his teammates this Saturday for the first time in the season, after undergoing a recovery treatment during the summer due to discomfort in the Achilles tendon in his left foot.

The culé team showed on their social networks the incorporation of the Spanish-Montenegrin to Sarunas Jasikevicius’s group session with a view to the Endesa League duel on Sunday against Joventut.

Last July, Barça informed of the process to which Mirotic was going to submit, without giving deadlines. At first there was talk of a few weeks, but the power forward has missed the Spanish Super Cup and, so far, eight games in the Endesa League, where they are fighting for the lead, and another eight in the Euroleague (5-3).

Mirotic has been under the control of the Barcelona team’s medical services since the end of the 2021/22 season. Now, in a squad with new players like Satoransky, Vesely, Da Silva and Kalinic, the Montenegrin will have to get up to speed in training and the date for his competitive return remains to be seen.
