La Real is fought: Anoeta will not be closed

La Real has escaped a full or partial closure of Anoeta that could be produced by the throwing of objects onto the field of the match against Real Madrid. The Competition Committee has resolved the case with a financial fine, amounting to 602 euros, the largest of the three that the club has received in just one month.

Based on article 110 that includes the Disciplinary Code, the disturbance of order during last Saturday’s game was “slight”. The Competition Committee decides that there was no noticeable disturbance of the game due to the incidents, a key point to limit the punishment to economic matters. The resolution refers to the incidents that you wrote Gil Manzano, the referee of the match, in the minutes. “At the end of the meeting and when we were entering the changing room tunnel, a half-full bottle of liquid was thrown from the stands, having to dodge it and reach me in the hand, not having to be assisted by the health services.”

La Real does not deny the facts and alleges before the Competition Committee that it proceeded to identify, complete and visual, the authors of the launches. The club also defends the broadcasting of messages by public address calling for these behaviors to cease and that, as the sanctioning body emphasizes, nothing altered the development of the match. The appeals presented by the Royal Court with the aim of alleviating the sanction, however, have been dismissed.

The Competition Committee warns in the final part of the document that it is the third financial sanction that has been filed against the Real this season. The club was sanctioned on November 3 with 301 euros and on 24 with 450. To the 602 that the entity txuri urdin must pay for these altercations declared “minor”, it will have to add 360 more, for the yellow cards they saw Januzaj and Zubeldia, 180 euros for each one, as established by the Competition Committee based on article 52 of the Disciplinary Code.
