Kondogbia still does not train with the group

The French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia did not participate this Monday in the work session carried out on the playing fields of the Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna by the Valencia players who were not starters in the defeat last Sunday at the Villarreal field.

The midfielder was low for the crash and did not exercise in training prior to it due to heel discomfort, which the club reported on Friday in a medical report that did not specify any injury.

But Kondogbia also starred in an incident last week when he accused club president Anil Murthy on social media of having misled him.

The club announced an internal sanction and linked these statements to the fact that the entity has not accepted a proposal by him from Atlético de Madrid that he considers unaffordable.

Kondogbia has come to Paterna but has worked separately. Those who have exercised with the group of non-starters this Monday have been the central Eliaquim Mangala and the midfielder Vicente Esquerdo, who did not enter the list to visit the La Cerámica stadium due to physical problems.

After the recovery session in the gym that the headlines of that clash had this Monday, this Tuesday afternoon the team will begin to prepare for next Friday's duel at the Elche field.
