How would you rate the match?
We have done our best to try to equalize the game. We haven't had many, but we did have a chance to tie in the second half on Lenglet's headers. It always costs with Atlético de Madrid. It is difficult to create many opportunities against Atlético; that's why you have to be good when you lose the ball. Atlético's goal was our fault because, in minute 47, having the ball, you can't lose it and they score 1-0. What happened in that 1-0 play cannot happen.
What is known about Piqué and Sergi Roberto?
I am worried like any coach. There are many injuries due to the schedule we have and we have to wait for the results to see how they are doing and if they are going to be out for a while, I don't know. But of course, logically I'm worried.
His team has added 11 points out of 24 in the league. To what extent do you take responsibility for what happens to the team at this point in the championship?
Like any coach, you are responsible for the results of the team, the maximum responsible. You have to keep trusting the players I have, but you have to improve things defensively, in attack too. And so far we have not been able to do more. I think the players have done everything until the last second to draw, and we must continue that way in the next matches. I'm not even worried about the championship or qualifying. We need to win a series of games, that's what matters.
Piqué was crying. Do you know if Araújo and Umtiti will be available for the next matches?
We have to wait. He has hurt himself and gone. I have not spoken with the doctor and so we have to wait. Araújo is training individually and I don't think it will reach Tuesday or Sunday. (about Umtiti, the Dutch did not answer)
Are you afraid that this defeat will cause doubts in this process of change that the team was trying to give?
This is not the time to comment in that sense. We have the squad that we have due to many circumstances and we have to work hard to improve the results.
