Koeman-Pjanic Summit

Ronald Koeman he's not leaving a single loose end. The Dutch coach confirmed today at a press conference that met with Miralem Pjanic, after the footballer's statements to an Italian newspaper about his situation in the Blaugrana team, where he complained about the little continuity he was having at this start of the season.

Koeman preferred to take the bull by the horns and avoid intermediaries, speaking directly with Pjanic to try to clarify his situation. To begin with, the Dutch coach did not want to put more fuel on the fire and assured him that he had no complaints about his attitude in the field, if not quite the opposite, since he liked that the players who were not starters had that point of rebellion, non-negotiable to reverse that situation. He reproached him, yes, for having used the media to express his complaints and not having addressed the coach before.

The Dutch coach, in a very conciliatory tone, explained that I had his total confidence that the season was very long and that he was convinced that in the end he would be an important player for the team, but that today there were players who were contributing more performance to the group. He asked him for a little more patience and not to lose heart, to continue working in training with maximum intensity. He also reminded him that the preseason started a little later than the rest of his teammates because of COVID 19 and that this circumstance forced him to start the course at a disadvantage with respect to the group.

Pjanic received Koeman's advice professionally, aware that the player who dazzled at Juventus has not yet been seen, but that with work and effort he will soon find his best level again.
