Kate Middleton, the emerald princess: captivating in Boston with a rented dress

Social networks fume after the last appearance of the Princess of Wales in Boston. Kate Middleton and her husband, the Prince Guillermoin full American tour, attended this Friday the gala of Earth Shot Prize 2022where she was the center of attention with a look typical of a Hollywood star.

The Princess of Wales became, for one night, the Emerald Princess in a straight and fitted dress, with a bateau neckline and a bright green belt, a nod to the theme of the night: nature and the environment. The most surprising thing is that the princess rented the dress, from Solace London, on the HURR fashion platform to set an example of a sustainable economy. The original was worth $350; it is rented for 60.

The design, completely smooth, did not need more decoration than a spectacular set of diamond and emerald necklace and earrings which originally belonged to Queen Mary and which she wore on several occasions her own Lady Di. She completed with glitter pumps and hair loose in waves, a hairstyle that was reminiscent of the divas of the 20s.

The Earthshot prizes are considered the environmental Nobel. Prince William became involved in the association, aimed at discovering and researching innovative and environmental solutions that could repair our planet in the next decade, and supports it through The Royal Foundation. He did so inspired by the Moonshot project, launched in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy to send a man to the Moon within 10 years and which today has become a foundation to safeguard nature.

The awards have been delivered at the MGM Music Hall in an evening that artists such as Billie Eilish, Beyonce, Rami Malek (Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody) and Annie Lennox have entertained.
