Kane keeps Tottenham undefeated and Fornals gives West Ham their first win

MADRID, 28 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Tottenham beat (0-2) this Sunday the promoted Nottingham Forest with a brace from Harry Kane, who gave victory to his team to keep them undefeated after three Premier days, while the Spanish Pablo Fornals gave the first victory to West Ham (0-1) against Aston Villa and Newcastle could not get past the draw (1-1) against Wolverhampton.

Harry Kane was once again differential for a Tottenham on a roll. After scoring the agonizing equalizer (2-2) on matchday three against Chelsea, the English international scored a brace to confirm the good form of his team.

Tottenham took the lead in the first five minutes of the match with a shot from outside the area by Kane, who served a header to the left post to complete the great assist of the Swedish Dejan Kulusevski.

The North London team kept trying but failed to close out their third victory until the final ten minutes. Once again, their talismanic forward took advantage of a Richarlison cross to score the second and final goal of the afternoon to the right side of Dean Henderson’s goal. Thus, Tottenham is third with 10 points behind Arsenal with four wins out of four and Manchester City, with the same points as Spurs.

In the case of West Ham, the Spaniard Pabo Fornals was the protagonist with a goal that marked the first win for David Moyes’s team. The midfielder sentenced the duel with a shoe in the 74th minute, leaving Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa with doubts after suffering his third loss.

In the case of Newcastle, with former Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak from the stands, he got an agonizing point -which keeps him with one win and three draws- thanks to the last-minute volley by Frenchman Allan Saint-Maximin. In this way, his goal in the 90th minute ‘served to put a draw in the match that seemed to opt for a Wolverhampton with Ruben Neves’ goal in the 38th’.
