Judy Murray, coach and mother of players Jamie and Andy Murray is in favor of the season and tennis circuits resuming only from next year, and start as if it were “a blank sheet”.
Awaiting the decision on Monday about the United States Open, if it maintains its scheduled dates and the way to dispute it, Judy has expressed herself in this way in statements to the BBC.
“We should park it and start again early next year, almost as if it were a blank sheet of paper,” he said.
“That would be fairer for everyone. I feel like until there is a vaccine, I don't think we will get a whole batch of players anywhere,” he added.
“It is very difficult because everyone sees things in a completely different way. I think there were 400 players in a Zoom call arguing with the ATP, all the men discussing what they felt when they returned and of course there will be some who want it desperately and others who are more cautious. I wouldn't want to be the tournament director, “he said, referring to the recent telematic meeting between the players.
