Izan Guevara: “I’m in very good shape and I’ll try to win for the third time in a row”

MADRID, 26 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The leader of Moto3, the Spanish rider Izan Guevara (GasGas), has assured that he will seek to add his “third victory in a row” at the Thai Grand Prix, the seventeenth round of the Motorcycle World Championship, and has recognized that he is “in very good shape ” to try to achieve his goal in Buriram.

“We arrived in Thailand with two consecutive victories and a distance of 45 points over the second classified. I am in very good shape and we will try to give our best in another new circuit for me,” he said in statements provided by his team, the Gaviota GASGAS Asper Team.

In addition, the Balearic hopes that the conditions will be favorable on the Thai track. “Hopefully the weather will respect us and it will be a dry race, as that is our strong point. It will be a difficult Grand Prix due to the extreme heat, but we will look for another podium finish and win our third race in a row,” he said.

For his part, his teammate and second overall, Sergio García Dols, believes that they have taken “a step forward with respect to the Aragón Grand Prix” and that now they must “take another in Thailand”. “I am very motivated because we are following an ascending line and I am sure that we will improve the sensations on the bike. There is no other option but to continue working as hard as always,” he concluded.
