The head of the Red Bull Formula 1 team, Christian Horner, reiterated his “total commitment” in his current position and his refusal to succeed the Italian Mattia Binotto at the helm of a Ferrari team that had “a great car” this 2022.

“My commitment is totally with the Red Bull team. I have been there from the beginning and, of course, I have a very close relationship,” Horner said in statements published on Monday by the British channel ‘Sky Sports’.

The British engineer was not surprised by Binotto’s separation from the ‘Scuderia’. “I think it’s the sixth Ferrari Principal Team I’ve faced since I joined Red Bull. Of course it’s difficult for him, they had a great car this year and they were certainly very competitive,” he warned.
