Granada promotes the events of its 90th anniversary

Granada celebrates its first 90 years of history. Founded on April 6, 1931 as Recreativo Granada, it has played 25 campaigns in Primera, played a Cup final and is now in the quarterfinals of the Europa League. For your interest we disseminate the explanatory note of the club on what this period of events will be like.

“Granada CF has presented some of the main events that will take place in the coming months as a celebration of the 90-year history of the club. They will continue for the rest of 2021, waiting for a positive evolution of the pandemic to allow greater interaction with fans and in the most direct way possible.

Among the most outstanding proposals are:

The imposition of the gold and silver badge on subscribers 50 and 25 years old.

The celebration of an act of recognition to the historians of the entity.

The design of a commemorative anniversary t-shirt.

An exhibition of stickers and utensils from different eras of Granada CF.

The edition of the book entitled '90 years, 90 stories'.

A short story contest in schools throughout the province.

A contest and exhibition of historical photographs.

During the presentation, the commemorative logo was unveiled.or what the club will show in its different actions. It is inspired by the mythical access arches to the old Los Cármenes. The team will wear it on their shirts in the next matches against Villarreal CF and SD Eibar.

The counselor intervened in the act Patricia rodriguez; the general director, Antonio Fernandez Monterrubio; and the institutional representative, Pepe Macanás. The three coincided in highlighting the great moment the club is going through on such an important date, which is an added motivation to continue growing and working for Granada CF ”.
