Granada accelerates for a striker

Granada prepares several movements for the final stretch of the market. To the close departure of Luis Abram, who is close to closing his loan to Cruz Azul of Mexico, is added the firm will of the rojiblanco leaders to incorporate a striker for the second stage of the championship. The objective that is being considered with more force at this point is Gonçalo Paciencia, forward of Eintracht Frankfurt for whom there are already conversations.

The arrival of a new attacker to Los Cármenes would multiply the Nasrid offensive performance and the club is working on the arrival of the Portuguese international, as pointed out Ideal. Patience is counting very little at Eintracht this season, where despite playing only residual minutes (a total of 266 between the Bundesliga and the Europa League) he has managed to score four goals, two in the domestic competition and as many in the European tournament. His incorporation does not seem easy and, therefore, the club also has other avenues open in the market to shore up the lead.

Regarding Luis Abram, his departure is about to take place. And it is that the defender has not finished fitting into the Nasrid project. His arrival this summer raised certain expectations that have not been met. The lack of adaptation has not allowed him to settle in the team or gain the trust of Robert Moreno. In these first months of competition, Abram has only participated in ten games, eight in the League and two in the Cup, and has played a total of 648 minutes. He has not played a minute in the League since December 3, the day Granada beat Alavés in Los Cármenes (2-1).

Cruz Azul has seen in the Peruvian a very good option to strengthen and the agreement for its transfer with option to buy is very close. In fact, the center-back did not travel to Getafe with the rest of the team at the expense of being able to close his departure from the rojiblanca entity.

In the chapter of incorporations, in addition to the forward, Granada is also weighing the possibility of covering Abram’s departure with the arrival of a central defender and incorporating another midfielder is not ruled out, although these movements will depend on the opportunities offered by the market, since the salary margin that the Nasrid club has is quite small.
