Gavi, recognized by the Legends of Spain

The association of former internationals of the Spanish soccer team, called Legends of Spain, held a ceremony in Seville taking advantage of the fact that the team will face Sweden there. Pablo Paez ‘Gavi’, a native of Los Palacios, was recognized as the rookie 830 of La Roja and received a shirt.

The former Valencianist Fernando Giner, President of Legends of Spain, who seeks historical recognition and promotion of Spanish football, acted as host of the event, which was also attended by former internationals, mostly Andalusians. Paco Gallego,, Miguel Reina, Carrasco, Rafa Paz, Álvaro Cervera, Roberto Ríos, Catanha, Romero, Diego Tristán, Capi, Marchena, Juanito, Koke Contreras, Güiza and Manu del Moral, among others.

In the day before the match against Sweden, match that will end the Qualification Phase for Qatar 2022, Luis Rubiales, president of the RFEF, carried out the delivery of several commemorative badges.

Between applause and before the attentive gaze of his companions, Raúl de Tomás, Gavi, Brahim and Carlos Soler were recognized for their recent debuts with the national team. For their part, Rodrigo Moreno and Carvajal, both international since 2004, received the distinction after reaching 25 matches with Spain.
