First sentence for the farce examination of Luis Suárez

The first sentence on the case of the Luis Suárez sham exam at the University for Foreigners of Perugia. As local media reported, Professor Lorenzo Rocca, member of the commission that examined the striker, agreed to one year in prison with a suspended sentence, for disclosure of official secret and falsification. The Perugia Prosecutor's Office had accepted the agreement.

Rocca was among those investigated together with the rector Giuliana Grego Bolli, the professor Stefania Spina and the director Simone Olivieri, who accuse of having revealed the content of the oral exam to the former Barcelona player. The striker needed an Italian B1 certification to get a passport and thus be able to sign for Juventus, which had no other place for non-EU citizens. Among those investigated, there are also Fabio Paratici, sports director of Vecchia Signora, and the club's lawyers Luigi Chiappero and Maria Turco.
