Fernando and Doblas will be Pellegrini's assistants at Betis

Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini will have the following professionals on his coaching staff:

Deputy coach. Rubén Cousillas. Roque Pérez (Argentina), 1957. He is Pellegrini's right-hand man since 2001. Historic goalkeeper of San Lorenzo de Almagro, he has worked with the Chilean coach in San Lorenzo, RiverPlate, Villarreal, Real Madrid, Malaga, Manchester City, Hebei Fortune and West Ham.

Deputy coach. Fernando Fernández Escribano. Malaga, 1979. Trained in the Real Madrid youth academy, he was loaned out at Real Valladolid. In 2002, he signed for Real Betis. With the green and white shirt he would play 192 games in six seasons, scoring 34 goals and being a very important part of the 2005 Copa del Rey champion team. As a coach he already directed CD El Palo from his homeland and Hungarian DVTK.

Head of the physical area. Jose Cabello. Onda (Castellón), 1973. He began his professional career at CD Logroñés to move to CD Onda. From there he would join the Villarreal academy and later the first yellow team. Since then he has directed the physical plot with Manuel Pellegrini in all his destinations.

Assistant physical trainer. Félix Fernández Cao. Orense, 1983. He was readapter at Pontevedra and RC Celta, before being a physical trainer at Chinese Wuhan Zall FC. He joined the Chilean coach's team at the Hebei Fortune and continued his relationship in London.

Goalkeeping coach. Toni Doblas. Seville, 1980. Successful product of the Real Betis youth team, he was the starting goalkeeper and a key player for the 2005 Copa del Rey champion team. He played 95 official matches in the Green and White goal for four seasons. Subsequently, he went through up to 12 teams in Spain, Azerbaijan, Italy, Finland, India and the Philippines. In the last season he has been a coach of goalkeepers for the Green and White youth team, performing this role in the first team in the last eight games.
