FC Barcelona will enter 435 million for the sponsorship of Spotify

The assembly of partners FC Barcelona will vote this Sunday electronically if it gives the go-ahead to the agreement of patronage signed between the club and the Swedish music company in streaming Spotifyon which the specific figures have emerged this Friday: €435 million.

Spotify will pay 60 million euros per year to display its name on the T shirt of the first men’s and women’s teams for four seasons, while it will pay five million annually for the training for three years.

Put the name at the Camp Nou It will cost five million a year while the remodeling works last -which is estimated to last four years-, and 20 million a year for the eight subsequent seasons, until completing the 12 years total stipulated in the contract.

The agreement with Spotify is the spearhead of a whole strategy to earn income and face both the bulky debt that the club carries and its future plans. FC Barcelona also expects to obtain resources from the sale of part of its audiovisual production company, as well as from the sale of digital collectibles now in vogue NFT.

Likewise, economic needs have led the club to maintain a sponsorship that harms its reputation: that of the Russian-based bookmaker 1xBET.
