Emery: “The point does not give us full satisfaction”

Villarreal coach Unai Emery acknowledged that the scoreless draw achieved by his team against Cádiz, at the Ramón de Carranza stadium, does not give them “full satisfaction”, but pointed out that “it must be valued” from the work done by its players.

The coach of the Castellón team declared at a press conference that the fact of “not giving” chances to the rival is “very important”.

He also highlighted the “good work” of his team and the “good process in ninety minutes of improvements” carried out, for which he considered the added point “sufficient”.

Unai Emery stressed that his team “has known how to be the protagonist” with the ball, and “have possession longer than normal, without precipitation to prevent them from having options” to win.

The Gipuzkoan coach admitted that Cádiz is “very dangerous” on the backlash, so they have sought to “work with the caution of what the rival may have and, from there”, deploy the “game idea” of his team over the field.
