El Rayo earns more than one million euros for Amat this market

Rayo Vallecano has closed the market with a positive economic balance, after KAS Eupen has exercised the compulsory purchase option that it had for Jordi Amat. The franjirrojo club has received just over a million euros for the central, who left on loan to the Belgian team – led by the Spanish Beñat San José – in the summer of 2019.

That money has been the only income as such of the entity, which has opted for an austere transfer policy.
