Del Bosque joins the challenge of scoring a goal with eyes closed to claim inclusive sport

The former national soccer presenter Vicente del Bosque presented on Thursday the 'Blindgol' campaign, led by 'Naturhouse' and the 'Inclusive Football' initiative, also starring the Paralympic athlete Lia Beel, who aims to make visible the sport with disabilities, to through the challenge of scoring a goal with eyes closed and uploading it to social networks.

“We must believe in inclusive sport. I know the world of disability well because every weekend I move through the different pavilions of Madrid to accompany my son to play football. They can do sports like everyone else, without any privilege. The benefits of sport, as for any other person, are fantastic, “explained the former coach in the presentation of the IV Festival of this initiative.

The campaign aims for players from different teams such as Andrés Iniesta, Marc Bartra or Junior Firpo to join the challenge of over 1,000 goals with their eyes closed up to the Instagram social network with the hashtag #Blindgoal, by individuals, clubs sports or companies, to give visibility to the inclusion of disabled people in sport.

“We want to get 1,000 goals. Above all we want to raise awareness in society about the benefits of sport for everyone, including people with disabilities,” said del Bosque, first to join the challenge, along with Beel.

For its part, the Burgos athlete highlighted the “importance” that everyone knows “the values ​​of the Paralympic sport”, “main objective” of this campaign devised by the athlete. “I as a Paralympic athlete know that there are some values ​​that we all share, but those in this category need to be transmitted,” he explained.

“Del Bosque always gives a lot of strength to the campaigns we do, and it helps a lot because they are a means of visibility for everyone. I hope everyone joins the campaign. It is a beautiful project that people will like,” he concluded.
