David Ferrer ceases to be Alexander Zverev's coach

Former Spanish player David Ferrer has ceased to be Alexander Zverev's coach, according to the German tennis player himself on his Instagram account.

“I would like to thank David for the months we have shared, the moments on and off the pitch, wishing him only the best in the future, “said Zverev, who has worked under the Spanish since last July.

“I also want to thank his family for giving me the opportunity to spend a few precious weeks with David during these difficult times. I have great respect for the way David plays and coaches tennis, “he said.

Last year, among other achievements, the German reached a Grand Slam final at the US Open for the first time, which he ended up losing to Austrian Dominic Thiem.
