Cheryshev, with muscular discomfort, falls against Celta

Valencia's Spanish-Russian winger Denis Cheryshev was left out of Javi Gracia's call on Saturday to face Celta de Vigo due to muscle discomfort, according to club sources confirmed to Efe.

The midfielder, who had exercised with apparent normality this week, has an adductor discomfort and Gracia has preferred to leave him out of his long list of summoned.

Cheryshev participated in the final leg of the match on the first day against Levante and was key in the victory as hers was the center that allowed Manu Vallejo to score the first of the two goals that broke the match.

In addition to Cheryshev, goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, defender Eliaquim Mangala, midfielder Carlos Soler and striker Kevin Gameiro have not entered the list due to injury.
