Channels: “All matches are final”

Sergio Canales does not want distractions in the final stretch of LaLiga. With the increasing possibility of having the European ticket in his pocket, the Cantabrian midfielder acknowledged in an interview with the official Real Betis media that “all matches are final, as we say, and each point is essential. We are going to give everything in these five games, starting with Sunday. We know that there is a lot at stake, which is to enter Europe, all the illusion behind it ”.

Canales do not hesitate to praise the work that coach Manuel Pellegrini is doing. “It is very calm, it generates tranquility and confidence. He has instilled in us his four or five very specific ideas that little by little we have applied them in the team and we have been getting the way of playing that we are having now. The team has made a big leap forward and we are all united in the same cause, ”he commented.

The midfielder also had a memory for the fans. “It has been a long time and is sorely missed. At specific moments they give you that necessary push in each game to try to get those three points, as now that it is so even. In any case, we feel that they are behind us and for them we also feel responsible. I am in a club that is socially very large and feeling so loved is very good for me and I am proud of it. The love that people have given me since the first day I arrived, I am very grateful ”, he concluded.
