Celta separate two players and the AFE comes into action

Sports Cope Vigo has announced that the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) has contacted David Costas and Jorge Saenz to find out their situation at Celta. Both defenders have been separated from the dynamics of the first team, training morning and afternoon in another field separated from their teammates with a physical trainer, and they cannot attend the talks by coach Eduardo Coudet.

Celta wants to force the exit in the winter market of two players with whom they do not have and whose salary is wanted to sign a striker, being Rubén Sobrino (Valencia) one of the objectives. The olive club already did something similar in its day with other players, the case of Jonny, Sergi Gómez and Radoja.

The situation of Costas and Saenz has been getting worse over the weeks after last summer they did not accept to leave knowing that they would have very few options to play, then with coach Òscar García. Now, with the arrival of Coudet, both have stopped entering the calls.

Coudet confirms it

The Celta coach confirmed the current situation of both players. “They are working from elsewhere and doing other types of work, but I can't tell you how this continues. They are guys who have chances to play in other clubs and my hope is that I hope they take advantage of it and be able to play football, “he explained.

Coudet hinted that the decision that both players do not exercise with their teammates, nor can they change in the same dressing room, is made by the celestial leaders. “I work on the field with the players that I will use. Not that there is a decision of mine, far from it. It is a sports decision, there is nothing personal. They are good boys and they have behaved well with me. I wish them the best and hopefully tomorrow they are playing at the highest level in Europe ”, he assured.
