Casademont Zaragoza is out of the Six final in the Women’s Euroleague

On the other hand, and despite losing, Valencia Basket does get into the fight for the title and will play directly in ‘Semis’

MADRID, 26 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Casademont Zaragoza has been eliminated by the Tango Bourges Basket in the ‘play-in’ access to the Six final of the Women’s Euroleague, appointment that Valencia Basket will play, and that it will do it directly in the semifinals despite losing Wednesday against the çbk Mersin.

The Maño team won by 64-73 during its visit to the city of Bourges (France), but could not overcome the 55-75 embedded at home last week during the first leg. As its tie of this ‘play-in’ was survival, being among teams with worse positions in the previous phase, Zaragoza said goodbye and its opponent went to the quarterfinals.

In fact, now the Tango Bourges will cross with the çbk Mersin, whose best ranking in the previous stage had assured him to remain alive in the tournament even if he fell against Valencia. In the first leg, the ‘Taronja’ team had defeated 89-57, rent that managed this time in the return, to do that bonus and access ‘semis’ directly.
