Cartagena and Real Zaragoza are neutralized

Cartagena and Zaragoza drew 1-1 on Saturday in a match between rivals from the lower zone of the classification in LaLiga SmartBank and they did so by scoring both teams at the top, through David Andújar and Iván Azón, and after the service of paths fouls in the second half.

The first meeting between these clubs in history resulted in a point for each team, which does not remove the Aragonese from relegation places to Second B, now adding 17 points in 20 games, and the Murcian near those positions of punishment by adding 20.

The team of Pepe Aguilar, who debuted as a black and white coach at home, began taking the initiative and Sergio Aguza, with a deflected shot, was the first warning, to which Vigaray responded with a raid that was cut off by Carlos David.

The trend of the meeting changed towards the quarter of an hour and the shock leveled off. Zaragoza was able to anticipate an action in which Zanimacchia's shot ended with the ball repelled by the right post of the local frame and with a free kick thrown by the same Italian player and that put Marc Martínez in trouble, while Efesé replied first with a play in which the shots of Álex Gallar and Rubén Castro did not find a goal and then with a shot by Gallar himself that was saved by Cristian Álvarez.

The break was reached with the initial draw after, through the VAR, a goal to the Colombian Narváez was annulled for a positional offside by Toro Fernández in a counter-attack action and in which the referee Saúl Ais Reig understood that the Uruguayan was covering Marc Martínez.

In the second half, with Bermejo instead of Narváez when he was injured, the handful team monopolized the ball and stepped on the black and white area with danger. A shot by Francho demanded the Efesé goalkeeper, who showed signs of insecurity and immediately left the ball to Jair, whose shot went over the crossbar. Vigaray and Toro Fernández also disturbed with their shots while the home team barely passed the center of the field.

However, a set piece made the team led by Aguilar go ahead with a great cross from Álex Gallar in a lateral foul and a better header from captain David Andújar.

With the 1-0 score, Juan Ignacio Martínez's team, who by the way returned to the Cartagonova stadium to face his former team between 2009 and 2011, continued attacking now to draw and, after a couple of times by Toro Fernández -the second of they were not a goal by a saving hand from Marc Martínez- and a deflected shot from Nieto, achieved its purpose.

It was in an action similar to that of the Cartagena goal. A lateral foul launched by Zapater that headed the net for Iván Azón, the two players joining the game just two minutes before their scoring connection.

The match concluded with Cartagena turned in attack and with Cristian Álvarez taking both hands from direct free kicks from Álex Gallar already in the 91st and 93rd minutes.
