Braydon Hobbs will not continue in the Monbus Obradoiro discipline

MADRID, 4 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The American base Braydon Hobbs will not be a Monbus Obradoiro player next season, as the Galician team announced this Thursday, despite the fact that he still had a year left on his contract with Moncho Fernández’s men.

Hobbs, 33, arrived at Obradoiro as a player with stripes and experience in European competitions, but has not become a leader for the team. In his year in the Endesa League he averaged 7.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists in his 32 games, highlighting the 17 points he scored against Real Madrid.

The American had signed for two years, but had an option to leave that has finally been executed. Thus, Obradoiro, who “wants to thank Braydon for his work and commitment and wishes him the best of luck in his professional and personal future”, manages to free up one of his non-EU places for next season.
