Atlético de Madrid reported this Wednesday that it has extended defender Manu Sánchez’s contract until June 30, 2027 and that he has loaned him to CA Osasuna, where the U-21 international has already been for the last two seasons.
The 21-year-old left back, who was linked to the rojiblanco team, whose Academy he arrived in 2015, until 2025, returns to Pamplona to continue gaining experience in a team where he has performed at a good level in his two previous assignments.
The man from Madrid made his debut under Diego Pablo Simeone in December 2019 and a month later he left on loan to Osasuna, with whom he played 18 games. In the following campaign, the ‘rojillo’ team was done with the transfer of him again and Jagoba Arrasate used him in 33 official matches.
