MADRID, 9 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Atlético de Madrid Foundation launched this Friday the ‘A life together’ initiative, through which it wishes to thank its members over 75 years of age and those who have been linked to the club for 50 years or more for their loyalty, according to a statement.
In this ‘A life together’ project, four of these members have recently received a visit to their homes from the president of the foundation and ex-rojiblanco, Adelardo Rodríguez; former soccer players Fernando Torres and José Armando Ufarte; and the captain of the women’s team, Lola Gallardo. “They have come to their homes to give them a very special surprise and share experiences and memories of historic moments,” the club explained.
All those members over the age of 75 or who have been wearing the red and white colors for 50 years or more, some 3,000 according to the entity, will receive the commemorative box for ‘A life together’ at their homes, which includes various gifts and a letter from their own Adelardo “showing the Foundation’s gratitude for a lifetime proudly defending and transmitting athletic values.”
