Araujo: “If Vinicius dedicates himself to playing football it will be even better”

FC Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo referred to his duel with Real Madrid striker Vinicius this Wednesday in the Copa del Rey semifinal second leg, whom he described as a “great player”, to complain about the Brazilian’s manner on the pitch , which he recommended to change to be “even better”.

“I’m always very calm and I think that Vinicius is a great player, I always say that. Every time we have to face each other it’s a very healthy duel, but today I got a little hot”, he said in the mixed zone at the Camp Nou after the 0- 4 that Barça conceded.

The visiting striker and the local defender experienced an intense one-on-one, with intense pique surrounding a Vini who drove more than one Barça player mad. “I spent the whole game talking to people from outside, warming up my teammates,” he said.

“He is a great player but he has to dedicate himself to playing football. If he dedicates himself to playing football on the field it will be even better. It warmed me up because he was saying everything to our people”, he finished.
