Antomi Ramos was proclaimed champion of the III edition of the Spanish beach tennis Championship in the absolute individual category. It is worth highlighting the quarterfinal match against the Catalan Santi Puente, where Antomi had two match balls against in the tie-break of the match. Finally the match was resolved with a result of 8-6 for the local player. In the semifinals, Antomi Ramos found himself against the great surprise of the tournament the local, Álvaro García, who won in the round of 16 at four times champion of Spain Saulo Tejada with a score of 7-5.
In the final Antomi Ramos was measured against the one who has shared the title of Spanish doubles champion with him for the last five years, the Catalan Gerard Rodríguez, number 10 in the world ranking.
