Ansu Fati retires of the field between tears

Ansu Fati lasted just over half an hour on the pitch. The doctors already warned that they had to be very careful with his injury, advising him not to start as a starter. But not even this way could Fati end up avoiding relapse. In the absence of further evidence, the first scans are negative, as they point to a possible injury to the biceps femoris of the left leg, which could leave him out of the pitch for several weeks.

The way he left the field already presaged the worst: between tears and being comforted by his companions, to which Xavi himself joined, with a strong hug, before Fati’s disjointed face.

This new injury is a real setback for Ansu, who he had practically just reappeared after having been out for more than two months. It must be remembered that the striker was injured on November 8 against Celta in Vigo. Two months later he was beginning to see the light, but now he has been injured again, and everything points to a relapse.

And to make matters worse for Xavi, Pedri also ended up asking for the change, although in his case it does not seem so serious, but because of the overexertion of having played more than ninety minutes, with half an extension included.
