The president of the Spanish Badminton Federation, Andoni Azurmendi, has been elected as the new president of the Confederation of Mediterranean Badminton Federations (COMEBA) in a unanimous election held in Malaysia taking advantage of the celebration of the Assembly of the Badminton World Federation ( BWF), as reported by the FESBA on Sunday.

COMEBA represents the badminton federations of the Mediterranean region and they have chosen the figure of the Spanish leader as their highest representative in an assembly held in the presence of Sven Serré, president of Badminton Europe, and Janssen Kanso, vice president of BWF, who They attended as prominent guests. In addition, the Spanish Mario Carulla was elected treasurer.
