The American cyclist Will Barta has become this Wednesday the eighth signing of the Movistar Team for 2022, an addition that comes from EF Education-NIPPO and signs a contract for the next two years.
Barta, 25, is “a good rider, with capacities for medium and even high mountains, good teamwork and great quality as a time trialist,” as described by his next team in a statement.
For his part, the American was “very happy and eager” to face this new stage. “Being part of a strong team like them, with a great history behind it, gives me a lot of motivation to try to add and contribute to that baggage that the team already has in these coming years,” he valued.
