Alexander Zverev explodes against the US Open bubble

Tennis returned with one of the most important Grand Slam tournaments in the world: The US Open. However, many began to get off the ship because they did not feel safe from the coronavirus pandemic, which has already left millions of people infected around the world.

It is because of that in New York they decided to follow the lead of the MLS and the NBA, putting players in what they call a 'bubble', same that supposedly should provide greater security to players.

The MLS and the NBA had no problem with the bubble. The complaints were nil and practically everyone could feel safe, a situation that apparently is not the same with the tennis tournament, since there are already many who have been questioned. Is the US Open bubble really safe?

Zverev explodes against the bubble

One of the first to speak out against the bubble is the German tennis player Alexander Zverev, who, when asked whether the hotel where he was staying held weddings, the German replied “in mine no, but I heard that in the other they were celebrating weddings and that they are not asked to take their temperature”.

These statements were replicated by Benoit Paire, a French tennis player who was out of the tournament after testing positive for coronavirus two days after the US Open began. Paire acknowledged that he was able to leave the hotel without problems, when he was supposedly going to see security at the door.

There are several tennis players who have railed against this false bubble that New York set up to seek that the US Open was not canceled, but that apparently leaves a lot to be desired if we compare it with the tournaments played by the MLS and the NBA in Orlando.
