Albert Torres and Sebastián Mora lead the track cycling list for the Munich European

Albert Torres and Sebastián Mora lead the list of the Spanish track cycling team for the Europeans that will host Munich (Germany), while in the women’s road cycling modality, Spain will attend with seven cyclists.

As reported by the RFEC this Friday, the main novelty for the competition at the velodrome is that of Albert Torres, who has not worn the national team jersey since Tokyo 2020 and who will compete in the modalities of Team Pursuit, Score, Scratch and Madison .

In the latter he will be accompanied by his usual partner, Sebastián Mora, who has already recovered from the broken collarbone he suffered in June and who will also do the Team Pursuit and the Omnium.

Together with both, there will be Francesc Bennassar and Jaime Romero (Team Pursuit), Eukene Larrarte (Team Pursuit, Elimination, Omnium and Madison), Tania Calvo (Team Pursuit, Scratch, Score, Individual Pursuit and Madison), Ziortza Isasi (Individual Pursuit and Teams), Isabel Martín (Team Pursuit), Eva Anguela (Team Pursuit), Pepe Moreno and Alejandro Martínez (Team and Individual Speed, KM CRI and Keirin), Ekain Jiménez (Team Speed) and Helena Casas (500 m CRI, Speed ​​and Keirin).


On the other hand, in the women’s road modality, Gema Pascual, the Spanish national coach, will have seven cyclists, with Sandra Alonso and Ziortza Isasi for the time trial, and Sara Martín, Sheyla Gutiérrez, Mireia Benito, Yurani Blanco and Lourdes Oyarbide for the route.

The time trial will consist of a 24-kilometre route, practically flat in its entirety, with start and finish in the town of Furstenfeldbruck, while the online race will consist of 129.8 km.
