A positive for coronavirus in Norwich six days after playing

Norwich has announced that one of its players, whose identity has not been revealed, has tested positive for coronavirus in the last round of tests that has been carried out on its staff. The team was already preparing to resume the competition. Norwich, the bottom of the table, will host Southampton next Friday. Reportedly, the player will be set aside for a period of seven days, when the test will be repeated to see if he has already overcome the disease.

When the player reveals a negative result to the virus, he will return to training. The Premier announced today that two players had tested positive in the last round of controls before resuming the competition. 1,200 tests had been carried out.
