A plane with the message “White lives matter Burnley” has flown over the Etihad Stadium just before the match between Manchester City and Burnley, while the footballers were kneeling in support, precisely, of the Black Lives Matter. The plane has not been organized by either club, but has been chartered by an amateur.

We want to make it clear that those responsible are not welcome at Turf Moor“
All Premier League teams have shown their support for the Black Lives Matter at the beginning of each match. In fact, in all of them there has been a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the coronavirus and subsequently the 22 players have knelt for several seconds on the field, before the initial whistle.
