Two dilemmas in Liverpool

The season ended, Liverpool wants to close the future of its two stars. As reported by Diario AS, Sadio Mané will leave the team this summer and Mohamed Salah could join him in 2023although next season he will continue with the Reds, as he himself acknowledged in the preview of the Champions League final.

Like Mané, Salah has a contract with Liverpool until 2023, but the Egyptian striker wants to end it and then he could leave as a free agent. In that scenario, As The Athletic explains, Salah would have a preference to play for a Premier League club.

Named best player in the Premier by the Football Writers Association, Salah faces the last 12 months of his contract with patience: his agent, Ramy Abbas, has not met with the Liverpool board since December. Some negotiations in which the differences between the parties were clear.

According to the same information, Liverpool offered him a 15% salary increase, but the 29-year-old Egyptian player rejected it because he considers that his emoluments have to be at the height of the greatest. Therefore, if the offer were improved, Salah would be willing to extend his relationship with the Reds for two more years.

Mané, waiting for Bayern

For his part, Sadio Mané is waiting for the agreement between Bayern Munich and Liverpool to announce his departure. However, positions on his price have not yet been approached, and it is that the Reds ask for 50 million euros for the Senegalese, but Bayern wants to lower the purchase price and would start from about 30. What is certain is that he already has an agreement with the Bavarian club: the contract would be for three seasons and he would charge around 20 gross kilos per season.
