The English coach becomes the fifth coach to lose his position so far this season, joining Nuno Espírito Santo (Tottenham), Xisco (Watford), Daniel Farke (Norwich City) and Steve Bruce (Newcaslte).
After three months of competition, more coaches have been dismissed than the previous season. Last year there were four: Frank Lampard, José Mourinho, Slaven Bilic and Chris Wilder.
